How does HelpALife match donors?
When a request is posted, our system ranks eligible donors nearby by blood group, distance, availability and last donation date — then alerts the best matches first.
Is it really free?
Yes. HelpALife is free forever for donors, requesters, hospitals and NGOs. We never charge for blood or for connecting people.
Will my phone number be public?
Never. Your number and exact location are private and shared only when you choose to respond to a specific request.
How do I respond to a request?
Open the request from the map or your alert, tap “Respond as donor”, and follow the directions to the hospital. You can share your ETA or cancel anytime.
