How to Talk to a Hospital About Blood Requirements

"Exactly what component, how many units, by when, and is this confirmed or precautionary?" Precautionary reserves and active transfusions need very different urgency.

"Do you have stock? Do you accept replacement donors? What are counter timings and required documents?" Every bank has its own process — learn it before sending donors.

Route all family communication through one attendant so the bank isn't answering five relatives with three versions of the story.
